Capital contingent go West

Several Capital athletes will be heading West tonight for the Glasgow AA Metric Miles Meeting at Scotstoun.

There are 130 entries for 800 metres races - all 11 of them - two 3000m and one 2000m steeplechase. Former Scottish 800m champion Mark Mitchell has entered the 3000m tonight with Corstorphone's Doug Selman among his rivals. Sarah Inglis (Lothian) and Laura Dunn (EAC) clash in the women's 3K while the top 800m race features former Scottish champion Graham Oudney v Guy Learmonth (Lasswade). Peter Louden, Ed Dudgeon (both EAC) and Scott Pilkington (Corstorphine) go in the B race, while Emily Dudgeon (EAC) clashes with Karen Montador (Central) in the women's 800m.
