Capello: Terry won't captain my England

ENGLAND manager Fabio Capello has made it clear John Terry will not captain the team again while he is in charge following the player's alleged affair with the mother of Wayne Bridge's child. "Until the World Cup, John Terry will not be the captain again," said Capello. "After the World Cup? If I remain as England manager? I think not."

Capello was speaking as he named the squad to play Egypt in a friendly on Wednesday. Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross, 22, was called into the squad for the first time last night, hours after he had been sent off for a challenge that left Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey with a serious leg injury.
