Campbell to defend Champions crown

GLENN Campbell will defend his Scottish Champion of Champions title at Leven this weekend. The former Scottish Amateur champion from Blairgowrie forms part of an impressive 48-man field for the traditional curtain-raiser to the domestic season.

David Law, the national boys and men’s amateur champion, and Philip McLean, runner-up to Campbell in last year’s event, also compete as does Ross Kellett, the top Scot on the world amateur rankings. English Walker Cup player Tommy Fleetwood, the winner of last season’s Scottish Open Strokeplay title, will make the journey from Southport to Fife for the 72-hole contest.
