Bremner's at the double as Leith prevail

Leith took the lead in their opening attack when William Bremner met Darren Lavery's cutback and shot home via the inside of the post.

And Bremner added a second minutes later, volleying home Jason Steven's cross. Leith missed chances to add a third, however, and were made to pay when David Anderson netted from Ryan McKenzie's free kick. Craigoyston almost equalised at the start of the second half when Kevin Robertson saw his header cleared off the line but it was Leith who sealed victory when Darren's Smith cross was missed by Lavery but netted by an Euan Campbell.

Any hopes the visitors had of getting anything from the match disappeared when Michael Olsson was shown a second yellow card, although they almost pulled a goal back in injury time when Steven Galloway hit the post.
