Injury robs Young of title bid

GARY YOUNG'S place on the Alex Arthur bill at Meadowbank has been thwarted by injury.

The Gilmerton welterweight damaged his right hand while sparring and has pulled out of the Celtic title fight with Welshman Barry Jones on December 15.

Meanwhile, Kenny Anderson now knows his opponent for Meadowbank. The Capital supermiddleweight will tackle Worksop's Simeon Cover.
