Boxing: Scott Grant makes it a perfect ten

MIDLOTHIAN amateur middlleweight Scott Grant powered his way to a hard-fought points win over Fauldhouse rival Lewis Akinlami at Fauldhouse last night to rack up his tenth consecutive ring victory this season.

Grant's progress was watched closely at ringside by ring legend Ken Buchanan, who presented the winner with his trophy.

And Buchanan revealed: "Next month I'm going down to Cardiff to participate in the largest ever gathering of former boxing world champions from all over the world ever held in the United Kingdom."
