Boxing: Leith Vics set for Christmas show special

Leith VICTORIA light-heavyweight Connor Brown gets an early chance to re-establish his winning credentials at his club's annual Christmas boxing show at the Edinburgh Masonic Club on Leith Walk tomorrow.

After narrowly losing in his Scottish Novices title bid last week on points, he is set to face Clovenstone's Pieyam Khosrowpour this weekend.

Holyrood's newly-crowned Scottish Novices light-welterweight champion, Martyn Warner, clashes with the host club's Sean White while White's welterweight clubmate, Grezegorz Korsak, goes head-to-head with Tranent Bronx's Neil Kennedy.
