Boxing: Arthur still in fight frame

Edinburgh's former world, European and British super-featherweight champion Alex Arthur today insisted he isn't winding down his career.

Arthur, who hasn't fought since December 2010 when outpointing Isle of Wight welterweight Jay Morris over eight rounds at Braeahead Arena, said: "I've been busy working on location in London and Glasgow on a gangster film Revenge and, so while it's certainly true that my boxing career has temporarily been on the back burner, I still intend to fight for a WBO International title before the end of 2011.

"I'm ready, willing and able to fight at around ten weeks notice."
