Bowls on Spec

SPECSAVERS has announced it is to sponsor the Inter County Top Ten Bowls Tournament.

This year's event – the 29th staging – features the champion club of the 25 competing County Associations ranging from Port William in Wigtownshire to Inverness.

Edinburgh champions Slateford, and Tranent of East Lothian miss tomorrow's prelim action but Buchan Park carry the West Lothian banner north to Abergeldie, while Gilmerton Private (Midlothian) are at home to Keith of Highland.
