Bowls: Lutton's 150th year fundraising

Lutton Place Bowling Club celebrated its 150th anniversary this year and, after the final game on the closing day of the outdoor season, representatives of their nominated charities, the RNLI, Erskine and the Personnel Recovery Centre (Edinburgh) received cheques from the club from cash raised during the season.

Other bowling clubs and Associations invited were asked not to bring presents or gifts but instead to consider a donation to the charities. These donations, along with collecting boxes at the bar and the club's "Hibs v Hearts" game raised a total of around 1,500.
