Bonnyrigg 2 - 1 Kelty Hearts: Bonny blow Kelty away

A FINE game played in difficult windy conditions with the home side just holding on as the Fifers pressed strongly for an equaliser.

Bonnyrigg scored in two minutes through Ryan McCallum but Craig Morrison levelled two minutes later from a free kick on the edge of the box.

Bonnyrigg scored what proved to be the winner when long serving defender Ally Reid headed home from a Scott Devlin free kick. Owen McCabe should have levelled straight from the restart but Michael Burgess made a brilliant save to frustrate him. Kelty committed all their subs as they poured into all out attack but Bonnyrigg held on comfortably. Scott Ritchie was outstanding in defence and Sean Grady almost made it three in a breakaway.
