Billy Brown and Gary Locke officially appointed

BILLY Brown and Gary Locke have been formally appointed to Hearts' coaching staff to assist manager Jim Jefferies.

The duo, who assisted Jefferies for his first three games back in charge without being officially employed by the club, have been named assistant manager and first-team coach, respectively.

Brown is Jefferies' long-time lieutenant, also working under him during the latter's first spell in the Hearts hotseat in the late 1990s.
