Four minutes after the restart, Bo'ness suffered another setback when defender Will Snowdon was sent off for fouling Stephen Bathgate as he was running through on goal. Things might have got even worse but John McCulloch's free kick hit the post and the danger was cleared. However the suffering was only delayed as on 59 minutes Hill of Beath extended their lead after Roberts connected with a Michael Stuart corner to head home at the near post.

With fifteen minutes remaining Hill of Beath were also reduced to ten men after Darrin Wright was red carded for elbowing.

Bo'ness pushed forward with intent but into time added on they were caught on the break and Calum Adamson ran through to seal the points for Hill of Beath.
