Edinburgh University are out of both knock-out competitions in the British University Basketball Championships after being defeated in their last-16 games yesterday.

Edinburgh women were narrowly defeated 59-52 by the powerful Durham team at the Pleasance yesterday, while Edinburgh men travelled to Durham with a weakened team and went down 63-36.
