Basketball: Saints march in on Edinburgh

CITY OF EDINBURGH will have an All-Saints Day at Portobello High School tomorrow when no fewer than four St Mirren teams, cadette women, cadet men, junior men (3pm) and senior women (5pm) will provide the opposition on the last weekend of Scottish basketball league fixtures.

But before that Edinburgh Kings travel to Paisley's Lagoon Centre tonight for their final league match of the season against St Mirren, one of only two teams to beat them this season.

"Although in terms of the league positions this game has no bearing it's an excellent opportunity for our team to work on plays in preparation for the Scottish Cup Final against Falkirk Fury a week tomorrow," said Kings coach Danny Costello.
