Basketball: Rocks crumble under Wolves' onslaught

A SECOND-QUARTER slump saw Glasgow Rocks' six-game winning streak grind to a halt last night as Worcester Wolves defeated the Kelvin Hall outfit 90-75.

Sterling Davis's men were out-scored 30-10 in a frenetic spell as their hosts took a 45-28 half-time lead which won them the game.

Meanwhile, Rocks centre Randall Hanke has urged Great Britain coach Chris Finch to considering bringing team-mate Rob Yanders into his squad for the summer's Eurobasket qualifiers.

American-born Yanders is set to qualify to represent GB after becoming a British citizen.
