Basketball: Fraser's double double helps Scots win

Falkirk's Ali Fraser, who heads for the University of Maine next month on a basketball scholarship, had a massive "double double", scoring 33 points and hauling down 20 rebounds in Scotland's 70-45 win over Luxembourg in Euro B Junior Men in Tel Aviv.

That feat was almost matched by Claire Paxton (Polonia), daughter of former Scottish rugby star Iain Paxton, who scored 21 points and grabbed 22 rebounds in Scotland 95-32 mauling of Monaco to take the Euro C cadette women's gold medal in Andorra.
