Basketball: Feast of NBA action on TV

Despite the disappointing knockback on future Olympic funding by UK Sport – a decision which Great Britain Basketball intend to appeal – the sport looks in better shape at the start of 2013 than it has for some years.

A weekly diet of double live NBA games on Sky Sports commence with the O2 Arena London regular season game between the New York Knicks and the Detroit Pistons and the regular televising of big games from the Euroleague on ESPN, which already shows many college games, will mean that the best of the sport will at last be available at the turn of a switch.
