Basketball A feast in the Capital tomorrow

It looks like being a Capital day in the Scottish League tomorrow with a big programme of games in two city venues.

At St Thomas of Aquin’s there are three successive Boroughmuir Blaze v Falkirk Fury games, beginning with the cadet men at 10.20am, the juniors at 12.20pm and the senior clash at 2.20pm.

At Portobello High School there are five games scheduled, from 11.00am until 9.00pm, with only the Edinburgh Kool Kats senior women missing, their derby with Polonia Phoenix going on instead on Tuesday at 7.30pm.

Edinburgh Kings face Highland Bears in the cadet men’s league at 1.00pm and Kings senior men play Glasgow University at 5.00pm, a game which on recent form they should have no problem winning.

Kings juniors follow at 7.00pm, playing Perth Phoenix.

Tipping off the bonanza at 11.00am will be Edinburgh Kool Kats v Polonia Phoenix in the cadette women’s league.

The junior women follow at 3.00pm with the same clubs in opposition.
