Basketball: Ex-Kool Kat Becca’s shining Stateside

FORMER Kool Kat Becca Allison has been hitting form for her American college team Old Dominion University, from Norfolk, Virginia.

Playing in the World Vision Classic Tournament in Las Vegas, Allison had a career-high 14 points in Old Dominion’s 85-67 opening win over UNLV after coming off the bench to play 14 minutes.

The former Portobello HS pupil was promoted to the starting five for Old Dominion’s third game in which they beat Alabama A&M 75-46, Allison scoring seven.
