Badminton: Sloan through into semis

Glasgow's Linda Sloan continued her great run of form to reach the semi-finals of the women's singles at the Yonex Welsh International in Cardiff yesterday.

Sloan made the last four with a 21-18 21-16 win over Sarah Milne.

Martin Campbell and Angus Gilmour, the Scottish No.2 seeds, made it into the semi-finals of the men's doubles, beating Sweden's Simon Bergstrom and Patrik Lundqvist 21-14 17-21 21-17.
