Athletics: Sprinters vie for £3k prize

Another big crowd is expected at Riverside Park tomorrow, where sprinters in the 110 metres handicap sprint at Jedburgh Border Games will be chasing a top prize of £3000.

That is easily the biggest of the Border Games season and second only to Musselburgh's New Year Sprint, where the winner takes 4000.

Former New Year winner Pat Swan has been tipped by some as a potential winner.
