Angry Csaba Laszlo says indiscipline 'kills' team and vows to root out slackers

HEARTS manager Csaba Laszlo has warned players that 'kill' the team by not following his instructions do not have a future at Tynecastle.

The Hungarian was so angry at the way his side conceded an injury-time team equaliser against Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday that he cancelled yesterday's scheduled day off.

Laszlo was left pulling his hair out over striker Christian Nade's needless second booking and was furious with his side's work-rate in the build-up to Andrew Little's leveller.

Scott Robinson gave the visitors a shock 75th-minute lead just moments after Nade's dismissal for petulantly kicking the ball away, but a lapse in concentration saw Rangers claim a point as substitute Little shot home from close range after Marin Kello could not hold a shot from Lee McCulloch.

The Gorgie outfit are looking to extend their unbeaten SPL run to eight games in tomorrow's visit of Aberdeen and Laszlo, who was so annoyed at Ibrox that he kicked over a water bottle and shouted at no-one particular as the teams came off the pitch before making his way into the media room for his after-match interview, has vowed to root out any slackers.

He said: "I think I cannot be angry but I'm very, very unsatisfied, even with the indiscipline from Christian Nade and also that if you play with ten men, you play what's necessary and you can't be on the field and don't help the team.

"For this, I don't see a player that does this can have a future in my team.

"The goal came from indiscipline, if you stay with ten men on the field and you have nine outfield players you can't watch the game. You must work with the team together and for this I am disappointed.

"I don't like to see people in my team that kill the team and don't work. I don't give any names but if you like to win games you must have discipline and discipline is everything."

Laszlo plans to forget about Saturday's disappointment as quick as possible ahead of the Dons' visit and insists their recent 2-0 Scottish Cup loss at Pittodrie – Hearts' only defeat in their last eight games – will have no bearing on tomorrow's SPL tussle at Tynecastle.

He said: "This is the past. This does not matter now. I am only interested in the future.

"I was very angry with the last-minute goal, but not unsatisfied with the performance overall. However, this game is finished and we think only of Aberdeen.

"We must produce the same performance, the same organisation and the same quality. We are a team, and we must continue to be together to play this successful football."

Meanwhile, Hearts youngster Ryan Wallace is hoping to be given the chance to stand in for the suspended Nade after making his first-team debut as a substitute at Ibrox.

The 19-year-old's introduction at Robinson's expense ten minutes from time has whetted his appetite for further action.

Wallace said: "I want to stay involved.

"It was a good experience getting a debut at Ibrox and I'm really thankful for the opportunity.

"The manager has shown faith in me but my aim is to work even harder to push for a place in the team.

"Aberdeen will be a tough match but I want to be involved. Whether it's from the start or as a sub again is down to the manager."
