Former Hearts chairman George Foulkes has reportedly hinted that several money men are ready to step in and bail out the Jambos if necessary.

He says courting Vladimir Romanov was Hearts' only option three-and-half years ago, but fears Romanov has lost his enthusiasm for the club.

Robinson backs Hadden against English clubs

EDINBURGH Rugby coach Andy Robinson has given his support to Scotland's Frank Hadden against top English clubs refusing to release players for international training sessions.

Hadden lodged an official complaint with the International Rugby Board after 10 of his players based south of the border were refused permission to attend a training session ahead of this year's autumn test series.

Robinson, who helped coach England to World Cup victory in 2003, said the current situation is unfair, as England players are allowed two weeks to prepare ahead of tests while Scotland's stars are given just five days.
