Give the gift of Scotland to someone this Christmas and allow them to indulge in luxurious spa facial and body care, and a signature fragrance, at home.

Rooted in the wild beauty of Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, ishga brings together the restorative power of nature, the precision of science and a deep commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship and community.

Harvested, formulated and produced on the Isle of Lewis, ishga’s award-winning skincare harnesses the unique properties of Hebridean seaweed to deliver results-driven luxury inspired by the purity of its surroundings.

This year its products take on a new expression with the introduction of the ishga tartan, designed by award-winning Scottish fashion designer Siobhan Mackenzie.

Inspired by the brand’s signature colours and the natural landscape of the islands, the contemporary design weaves a subtle pattern of Scottish identity into ishga’s story, with a hidden thread count referencing the coordinates of its Stornoway headquarters.

Debuting across the 2026 Christmas collection, the tartan brings a distinctive sense of place to festive gifting, celebrating the authenticity, natural beauty and enduring spirit of the Hebrides at the heart of everything ishga represents.

The power of seaweed

For thousands of years, seaweed has been valued for its therapeutic and skincare benefits. Inspired by the natural richness of Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, marine microbiologist and ishga co-founder Malcolm Macrae developed a method to extract the antioxidants, vitamins and minerals from Hebridean seaweed, laying the foundations for the brand’s award-winning skincare range. Working alongside his wife Joanna and seaweed expert Martin Macleod, he perfected the formula that became ishga’s bestselling Anti-oxidant Marine Cream.

Recent lab research carried out on the ishga Anti-oxidant Marine Cream found that it helps calm signs of skin irritation and supports the skin's natural protective barrier.

From beach to bottle, every ishga product is harvested, formulated, manufactured, bottled and packaged in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis – – making it one of the biggest employers in Stornoway .

Seaweed is carefully hand-harvested from the surrounding coastline using sustainable methods that allow it to regenerate, while fresh springwater is collected by hand for use in production.

Combining the restorative properties of four varieties of Hebridean seaweed with scientific expertise and carefully selected natural ingredients, ishga creates results-driven skincare designed to hydrate, nourish and revitalise the skin.

Proudly used in luxury spas across the UK and internationally, its face, body and home fragrance collections bring the essence of the Hebrides into everyday rituals. With a commitment to sustainability, Soil Association organic certification and cruelty-free, vegan formulations, ishga celebrates the purity of its surroundings protecting its Scottish heritage as much as the environment and your skin.
