Fairmont St Andrews drives new golf packages and initiatives to get more women and girls into the sport
Fairmont St Andrews has signed up to the R&A (Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews) Women in Golf Charter to help inspire more women and girls to join the sport.
Their Time to Tee Off with Fairmont St Andrews package is designed to help guests progress their game with specialist professional training and unlimited golf, while enjoying the perfect retreat with spa treatments and exquisite dining.
Jane Frazer – Fairmont St AndrewsWe believe that golf is a sport which should be enjoyed by everybody. Yet it is estimated that less than 20% of golfers in the UK are female, which highlights a disparity in the number of women and girls taking to the sport. As a famous golfing destination, we want to be at the forefront in providing females with a platform to enter the game and access to the very best coaching, course and training facilities – all to be enjoyed as part of a relaxing coastal retreat.
