Festive lights switch on: On November 29, hotel guests can enjoy a luxury retail pop-up in the Atrium, perfect for starting their Christmas shopping, while enjoying the sounds of the St Andrews Musical Society Choir. Local suppliers will showcase their goods alongside offerings from the Fairmont Spa, including ESPA and Ishga products, and golf and leisure vouchers. Rooms start from £229per night based on two adults sharing.

Discover the magic of Santa’s Grotto: This year, hotel residents will be welcomed into Santa’s grotto during their stay at Fairmont St Andrews. The jolly annual visitor will be available for a meet and greet. A bed and breakfast stay, including a meeting with Santa is available on all weekends in December.

Christmas Eve: Make this Christmas unforgettable with a festive Christmas Eve stay. Festive afternoon tea: This Christmas, indulge in Fairmont St Andrews' Festive Afternoon Tea, a five-course delight served in the elegant Atrium Lounge December 5. This beloved tradition has been transformed for the season, featuring festive-themed cakes, sandwiches, and scones. Available until early January, on the weekend, guests can enjoy the experience alongside a special visit from Santa, who will offer a gift for each table and be available for photos. Priced from £45per adult and £25per child under 12, with complimentary dining for children under 5 with a paying adult.

Festive Sunday brunch with Father Christmas: On December 1, Fairmont St Andrews hosts a festive bottomless brunch with Santa himself. Guests can enjoy a lavish buffet of seasonal dishes and Fairmont favourites, accompanied by cocktails and live music in the Squire restaurant. Santa will be mingling with tables every hour for 30 minutes, followed by a photo session in front of the Christmas tree. The bottomless brunch is priced at £85 per person, and £32.50per child.

Festive lunches: From November 28 onwards, guests can enjoy a festive celebration like no other. Priced from £59 per person, guests will be surrounded by magical décor and treated to a culinary experience featuring locally sourced, seasonal produce infused with festive cheer. Whether gathering with loved ones or colleagues, a festive lunch at Fairmont St Andrews promises to be the perfect way to enjoy a cosy winter's afternoon in style.

Private parties: Celebrate the joy of the holidays with an exclusive private party night the hotel. Whether it’s a grand celebration or intimate gathering, Fairmont St Andrews has got everything needed for a memorable event. Guests can enjoy a delicious three-course festive menu, half a bottle of wine per person and seasonal décor. All packages include room hire, table settings, and a dancefloor for an evening of fun and festivity. Packages can be tailored for groups of any size, starting at £79 per person.

New Years Hogmanay: Ring in the new year in unforgettable style with a Hogmanay celebration to remember. Gather with family and friends for an evening of flowing champagne, dancing, and delicious food to welcome 2024 in true Scottish fashion.  Guests can start their evening with a choice of the Kittocks Den, home to an exceptional collection of rare and single malts, cocktails and spirits, or the Zephyr Bar with a stein of Zephyr pilsner, before enjoying a delicious meal in the Clubhouse & Grill.
