Dealmaker Awards 2024: Emerging Dealmaker of the Year
Alastair Moore worked to arrange funding for Aveni, Heliex Power and Skylark Lasers. He originated a new investment for Par Equity which will be the first from its new office and delivered by his team locally. And he collaborated in building up the business funding environment in Perthshire and Kinross.
Moore admitted the past year had been hard, but added: “We are on the way up. Well done to everyone nominated. Looking forward to better times ahead.”

Lynsey McCulloch, senior associate, Scottish National Investment Bank. She worked investments in FOR EV, IndiNature and the Thriving Investments MMR Fund.
Naill Benzahia, head of strategy and investments, and corporate finance director, Hutcheon Mearns, led the sale of Cambric Solutions to Abingdon Software; and led the acquisition of Cistom Engineering by REDA Energy.
