Futureproof is the annual showcase of new talent in photographic image-making from across Scotland’s photography and fine art degree courses. The selection of work by young artists gives an insight into our place within the contemporary world with personal stories, theatrical constructions and documentary observations on the social and the psychological. You could also catch a glimpse of the work of Scotland’s next big photographers.

MUSIC: MILK HALLOWEEN PARTY FEATURING ROMAN NOSE, CARNIVORES AND THE LAFONTAINES

MILK will be celebrating Halloween early with the help of great Scottish bands Roman Nose and Carnivores. The LaFontaines will also be dropping by the play party-centric R&B and hip-hop hits to get everyone in the party spirit. As well some great live performances, there’ll be tricks and treats, free cookies, face painting and a photographer on hand to capture all the fun.

OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE: THE ENCHANTED FOREST

Explore the autumn woodland setting of Faskally near Pitlochry. The Enchanted Forest is a multi-award winning show which combines the creative talents of lighting designers Kate Bonney and Simon Hayes with sound designers RJ McConnell and Jon Beales. The result is an outdoor experience that wll fire up your imagination with breathtaking visuals and innovative design set against an original music score, including a new orchestral piece.

Based on the hit film featuring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde follows Sorority Star Elle Woods on her journey from it-girl to Harvard Law school graduate. Legally Blonde is a feel-good musical comedy that will teach you that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

FILM: 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT

Celebrating its fifth birthday, The 48 Hour Film Project returns to Glasgow today. Over the course of two days days, teams of budding filmmakers have produced a series of all-new short films. The screenings will offer audiences the chance to witness these new works in the cinema, meet the filmmakers behind them; there are prizes up for grabs, too.
