Timelapse: Spitfire lowered at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove

THIS timelapse of a Spitfire LA198 was captured by Scotsman photographer John Devlin as the plane was lowered to the ground at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum yesterday.

The historic aircraft, lowered as workers observed the Armistice Day silence at 11am, flew with 602 (City of Glasgow) Squadron between 1947 and 1949.
