Ticketus’ bid to make Craig Whyte bankrupt

The court case has arisen after the disgraced businessman failed to settle his debt to the company for providing him funds in exchange for ticket revenue during his takeover at Rangers.
Whyte, 44, is reported by the Sun newspaper to have not been present at a hearing in London, that set a date in April for evidence to be lodged.

Hide AdTicketus are pursuing the action after the High Court in London ruled that Craig Whyte had lied to them over the £25m deal that saw the company secure three years of future season ticket sales.
A Ticketus spokesman said: “The bankruptcy petition is a direct result of the judgement - Mr Whyte has failed to pay the money that was due.”
