The Great British Bake Off set for Edinburgh

Vendors will be selling their wares at the Cake & Bake Show in Edinburgh

When The Cake & Bake Show rolls into Edinburgh 30 October, it will also host its very own live Great British Bake Off stage.

Celebrities and experts including Wendi Peters, best known in her role as Cilla Battersby Brown in Coronation Street; Eric Lanlard, a French pâtissier; and Aaron Craze from ITVs Saturday Cookbook will feature.

Attendees at the Royal Highland Centre can also expect to see some of the stars from the current GBBO series as well, in the shape of former champions, John Whaite, Jo Wheatley, and runner-up Brendan Lynch.

Amateur, hobby or professional bakers can pick up baking tips and recipes from famous GBBO faces, and keen bakers will also get the opportunity to bring in their own successes to The Great British Bake Off Live section at the show for the celebrity bakers to taste.
