Scottish Conservatives have confirmed that any member who voices support for Scottish independence will be asked to surrender their party membership.

A party spokesperson said: “It wouldn’t really be in anyone’s interests for a pro-independence supporter to be a member of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.”

McCallum family slam Ibiza ‘drug death’ story
Danielle McCallum, 18, from Greenock, died in the Spanish island’s Can Misses Hospital on Tuesday morning.

Medics at the hospital reportedly told media outlets it was suspected she had taken MDMA.

However her family say she had suffered a fall on Thursday and had been recovering in her hotel room since then.
