Rangers ‘poised to sign Kenny Miller’

Ally McCoist will recruit the free agent, who has been released by the Vancouver Whitecaps, once the details on Miller’s two-year deal are finalised.

Rangers’ long-running financial problems have prevented the club from tying up the deal.

Low season ticket sales and emergency loans that remain unpaid have contributed to Rangers’ precarious financial position.

But the club hopes to finalise terms with the 34-year-old before McCoist leaves the country this weekend for a holiday.
