Rangers AGM: Easdale increases voting power
Easdale has been assigned the shares, and associated voting rights, of stockbrokers Beaufort Securities. The deal means Easdale now has control of over 26.6% of the shares of various parties, including the 4.5% he himself owns.
Easdale’s brother James is on the current board at Ibrox, and could be removed from his post at the AGM on 19 December.

The move by Easdale follows fans’ group The Sons of Struth’s announcement that they are writing to the 50 leading investors in Rangers to ask them to recognise the strength of feeling over how the club is being run.
Laxey Partners, the biggest individual shareholder which controls over 11.5% of Rangers, are set to vote in favour of the current board.
