New date for Glasgow Warriors’ Euro match in Paris

Glasgow Warriors’ postponed European Rugby Champions Cup match against Racing 92 in Paris will take place on Saturday 9 January, it has been announced.

The match was originally scheduled to be played in Round 1 of the competition on Saturday 14 November but was postponed following the Paris attacks the previous evening.

The Warriors team and dozens of supporters were in Paris when the attacks took place.

The game will kick off at 1pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

It will be Glasgow’s fourth European match of the season, with the return game still to be played at Scotstoun in January as well as an away fixture against Northampton Saints.

Glasgow lost their opening game at home to Northampton last month. They play Scarlets at Scotstoun on Saturday.
