Mystery painting of Glasgow’s Trongate could fetch £15,000

A mystery painting of Glasgow’s Trongate is on show at The Lighthouse in Glasgow today and tomorrow before being sold in Edinburgh on 10 December.

Lyon & Turnbull discovered the painting, which has been valued at £10,000 to £15,000. Charlotte Riordan, Painting Specialist at Lyon & Turnbull, said: “The painting caused quite a stir as none of us had ever seen a Glasgow street scene of this nature.”
