Justin Bieber announces Glasgow date as part of world tour

Justin Bieber has confirmed that he will be coming to Scotland as part of his world tour.

The 21-year-old pop star will play Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on 27 October 2017 in what will be his first visit to Scotland in five years.

The global sensation has had number 1 album releases in over 100 countries and his new album Purpose is currently breaking numerous records, after garnering more than 200 million global album streams on Spotify in the first week of its release.

Justin last toured the UK in 2013, as part of his worldwide Believe tour. He played dates at London’s O2 arena but vowed never to return to the country after a series of incidents, including a confrontation with a photographer. The controverisal singer will also play the O2 in London, Birmingham Barclaycard Arena, Manchester Arena, and Sheffield Arena.

The UK leg of his tour will follow his 64-city North American dates.

Tickets go on sale on at 9am on Thursday, December 17.
