Hotel chain reveals oddest requests from guests in Scotland
Travelodge has published its annual list of the most strange requests from visitors to Scottish hotels, including guests who asked for tips on where to find wild haggis, and one who wanted a bathtub full of Irn Bru.
Travelodge, which has 38 sites in Scotland, produced the list after discussing with staff the weirdest requests they had been asked to provide for by customers.

One receptionist at the Glasgow Central branch was asked to be a Bridesmaid for a customer’s wedding, and a guest at the Aberdeen Central hotel was asked to ‘turn on’ the Northern Lights.
An ambitious punter at the same branch also asked if the staff could stop the win from blowing, while perhaps the oddest of all was at Dunfermline, where a customer asked for their bath to be filled with Irn-Bru.
Travelodge spokesman Shakila Ahmed, said: “With over 18 million customers staying annually across our 552 hotels, our teams receive thousands of unusual requests.

“However, there are some requests that they cannot help with, such as arranging viewing of the Loch Ness Monster, building a helipad on top of one of our hotels, and directing an American tourist to where to see wild haggis.”
