Glasgow-based Honey Pharmacy Group will also launch five traineeships as part of the move, which sees the firm’s portfolio grow from three to eight pharmacies north of the Border.

It has acquired the branches from Apple Pharmacy Group with sites situated in Dundee, Edinburgh and Polmont. Two further branches will open in prime Glasgow locations. They will continue to trade under the Apple Pharmacy name.
