Henry Pyrgos to miss start of Six Nations

GLASGOW have suffered a double blow with injuries to Scotland pair Henry Pyrgos and Fraser Brown but Tonga prop Sila Puafisi will make his debut against Ospreys on Sunday after returning from World Cup duty.

Warriors have lost Pyrgos for four months after the scrum half underwent surgery on a wrist injury while hooker Brown is out for eight weeks with a foot injury.

Glasgow will have more internationals back for Sunday’s Guinness Pro12 match at Scotstoun, however.

Fiji second row Leone Nakarawa and Scotland internationals Tommy Seymour, Peter Horne and Gordon Reid are the latest internationals to come back into the starting line-up while United States lock Greg Peterson makes his first start.

Scotland stars Mark Bennett, Jonny Gray, Stuart Hogg, Finn Russell and Josh Strauss have been given extra time off to recover from the World Cup.

But Glasgow have a back division full of Scotland caps - Seymour, Lee Jones, Richie Vernon, Horne, Sean Lamont, Duncan Weir and Mike Blair.

James Malcolm and Sam Johnson could make their debuts from the bench.
