Scotland rugby star Josh Strauss reveals clean shaven look

HE IS known almost as much for his trademark beard as he is for his rugby skills.

But Josh Strauss stunned Scotland fans today by revealing that his impressive facial hair is no more.

The flanker, who plays for Glasgow Warriors, tweeted a picture of his family while back in his native South Africa.

Although not drawing attention to his new clean shaven look, it wasn’t long before fans were asking where his beard had gone.

Strauss signed for Warriors in 2012 and was a regular in the team that won last season’s Pro12 title.

He became eligible to play for Scotland in September this year due to residency rules and made his much-anticipated debut against Japan in the opening game of the Rugby World Cup.
