Morrison lands contract for £43.3m Largs campus
The Edinburgh-based builder, owned by FTSE 250 group Galliford Try, won the deal from Hub South West Scotland on behalf of North Ayrshire Council.
It will now press ahead with obtaining planning permission for the scheme, which includes the relocation of Largs Academy, along with a relocated St Mary’s RC Primary School and an additional primary school, created by the amalgamation of Brisbane and Kelburn Primary Schools.

Hide AdThe campus will be built on the grounds of the Sportscotland Inverclyde National Centre and will accommodate a maximum pupil roll of 2,120.
Galliford also said today that its Building business has reached financial close with the Education Funding Agency over the £41.9m Greenwich, Lewisham and Croydon batch of schools through the Priority School Building Programme.
