Man remanded in custody accused of stabbing wife to death

A MAN was behind bars last night after being accused of murdering his wife by stabbing her to death in their home.
Robert Kerr, 38, was remanded in custody following a 90-second court hearing over claims he killed Xin Xin Liu, 39.

Hide AdIt’s claimed he carried out the murder on Tuesday in the Glasgow suburb of Newton Mearns.
He appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday to face a single charge of murder.
Prosecutors claim Kerr murdered the mother of two, who has sons aged 11 and six, by “repeatedly striking her on the body” with a knife.
