Anderson Group said it had achieved a “significant milestone” north of the Border, having won 32 new recruitment agency clients since it opened its Scottish office just 12 months ago.

The firm has also moved to larger premises on the city’s West Regent Street and opened a satellite office in Aberdeen to accommodate further growth. The latest moves bring the number of Anderson office locations to five.

Bosses said the rapid growth in Scotland had been driven by an increased demand for a range of contractor services, from agencies in the hospitality, construction, logistics and oil and gas industries.

The firm – founded by employment industry experts – also provides advice on changes to the regulatory landscape and best practice in agency and contracting operations.

In addition to its headquarters in Luton, Anderson Group now has offices in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manila and Mumbai.

Director Barry Roback said: “One year on, Anderson Group has established itself as a major provider of employment management solutions to Scottish recruitment agencies, which help them strengthen and grow their business. Demand for our services has been much higher than expected, with recruiters attracted by our full spectrum of solutions, coupled with local expertise and account management, rather than being supported from elsewhere in the UK.

“Plans are in place to continue building our presence in Scotland by growing our current team of seven to 20, over the next year.”
