Kiltearn becomes the second of the Edinburgh-based recruiter’s clients to agree such a deal under the principal recruitment partner (PRP) model, following a similar agreement with Alliance Trust last year.

Core-Asset said advantages of the PRP model for Kiltearn include giving the asset manager “the best aspects of contingency-sourcing, executive-search techniques and temporary recruitment services”.

Betsy Williamson, managing director of Core-Asset Consulting, said the new agreement creates a closer relationship with Kiltearn, allowing the recruiter to “better match candidates to the roles”.

Stuart Gunderson, chief operating officer at Kiltearn, said the size of the business “makes the attraction, retention and development of talent more critical to us than larger, more established players”.
