The deal, which will see the Livingston-based firm manage a portfolio of about 3,000 meter assets for Crown, comes a week after Energy Assets said it was buying Clackmannanshire utility networks company Blyth for up to £5 million.
Energy Assets chief executive Phil Bellamy-Lee said: “We are delighted to be working with Crown and are looking forward to delivering a service which merits the confidence Crown has shown in the capabilities and technology that the Energy Assets Group can offer.”
Crown Gas & Power is the gas supply division of Crown Oil, serving clients in the public sector and construction industry.
Director Dale Marriott said: “Our customers demand the very best in customer service and we pride ourselves on meeting, and indeed, exceeding their expectations.
“Metering is fundamental to our business and we adopt only the highest standards when choosing preferred providers. Energy Assets has a reputation for delivering excellence and we look forward to utilising their expertise.”
