The article praised the new V&A Museum of Design as “the centerpiece (sic) of a $1.5 billion transformation of the faded riverfront” which will “celebrate the country’s unsung design heritage—from jute to Minecraft’”.

City chiefs hope that the museum, which rises up to 60 feet tall, will help bolster Dundee’s bid to be crowned a European Capital of Culture in 2023.
