Hospital’s phone problems

NHS Borders is currently experiencing some intermittent faults with incoming calls to Borders General Hospital

Callers are able to call the Borders General Hospital but on some occasions the person answering the call within the hospital is unable to hear the caller.

NHS Borders is working with British Telecom and Siemens to resolve this disruption as a matter of urgency.

In order to maintain essential communications, members of the public and staff should, until further notice, only phone the Borders General Hospital if it is a matter of urgency. In these cases, if you are unable to get through please try again or contact NHS24 on 111.
