Cuddybridge Apple Juice, based in Innerleithen and run by husband-and-wife team Graham and Julia Stoddart, hand-pressed more than 300,000 apples this year.

Graham Stoddart said: “This has been a momentous year: we’ve produced a brand new seasonal Discovery Apple Juice, provided apple juice to passengers at the launch of the new Borders Railway and even sent our apple juice to Italy. But if 2015 has been an exciting year, 2016 looks to be even better with the prospect of increased production and greater distribution.”

He added: “It’s great to see what is actually hard, physical work pay off with such strong sales from our growing band of enthusiastic customers.”
